i hoped for madness for2009 as a follow act for special beat, who i thought were great.nothing like some ska to get the heart pumping.

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

Seems Johnny Winter has a bit of free time around easter.
Sun 03/07/10 Rome, Italy - Fri 04/16/10 Albany, NY
More than twice the distance to oz than Rome from NYC but, who knows?

Imelda May and Brett Dennen would be excellent but for me personally the others only induce a yawn, or in the case of Derek Truck...nausia!

The rumoured Faces reunion is probably not going to happen, fresh rumours emerging are Rod Stewart reuniting with Jeff Beck as The Jeff Beck Group.

@cutercomputer - pity you don't dig Derek Trucks Band - have you heard much of their stuff? It soars for me.... The new Madness album is a very solid concept album. A bit "Cat Empire" in places.

Rod Stewart would be mainstream media worthy, and hooking up with the already announced Jeff Beck could be regarded as an "exclusive". It's nearly Sunday.

JBT announced for West Coast Bluesfest... How does this bode? Do they need a 'year off' Bluesfest as others have suggested?

Eddie Vedder ... his US solo shows this year and last year were phenomenal.

He's currently touring Australia with Pearl Jam and I'm seeing them in Brisbane next Wednesday. Liam Finn and Ben Harper are the support acts.

I think Diesel is very likely. His brother in law (Barnesy) is already on the bill, and Diesel's latest CD is a Blues album (Project Blues: Saturday Suffering Fools).

Dave Hole would be great, been soooo long.

Dave Gilmour would likely sellout. Hmmm

I doubt he'll be our world exclusive act, but it's looking like a March/April 2010 Bob Dylan tour is going to happen. Possibly part of announcement #2?

I don't think Chuck Berry will get a start ever cause i am sure P Noble stated on here last year that he is known for taking the loot but not turning up.
