For how many years have I been suggesting Oumou Sangare, Peter Green and Jeff Beck as must haves for BF? Then the first year in many I can't go look what happens...

Reg??? So sorry to hear this.....

Without wishing to rub salt into the wounds, I truly think Mr Noble is close to putting his best ever line up together (certainly ranks with 04 and 08).

Reg you must have something like a family wedding or trip offshore to be missing Bluesfest 2010.

It will be unusual not to have your familiar profile in the front row[not at the country acts of course].

There are simply not enough people who fit the possible profile of a hippy, still attending Bluesfest.

Repete will have to make up for your absence by wearing even more colourful clothing than usual, and perhaps a colourful headscarf for good measure.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.

There's only one Reg....will be sadly missed. Out of respect, I think we need to resurrect the chair debate.....

Maybe as part of rebirthed Blues Fest - a new tradition of more comprehensively video recording the acts & making them available later - could be available for those who unfortunately can't attend. Or who can't get to all the days. Or in a Fest (or Feast) like this one is shaping up - can't get to all the acts.

Surely ABC2 or TripleJ/JTV needs more Aus. Kultural events to broadcast.
