Was fully intending to kick back this year and leave the 'fest to the young uns, but the line up for next
year is one that I can't refuse. Just wouldn't feel right to be sat at home knowing this amazing line-up
was happening at my most favourite place in the world ! So here we go again !
ps Patrick........great photos man !

Hi Don,

Great to hear you are still waving the flag over in WA,despite the downturn in Mining.
I thought about you when I read a review of the latest Dion release,in I think Blueswax.

One of my brothers has a mate in Perth,so I told him to email him to ensure he does not miss Royal Crown Revue when they play over there.

I agree with you in regard to Jimmy Thackery. When he played at Narooma last year,I had never heard of him,but during his sets came to appreciate what a great guitarist he was,and bought two of his cds, which have been getting regular playings.I appreciated him finishing with "Misirlou",made popular by Dick Dale,a track I have never heard played live.

They had some vinyls of "Guitar" for sale this year.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.
