I was pleasently surprised when I went to the Elvis concert in Brisbane over the Weekend. His performance was thoroughly professional and the variety of music he played was vast. Why Mr Noble couldnt we get a performer like Elvis Costello for BluesFest

Yeah wasn't he great last night?

I didn't keep track of it last night, but the setlists for the other shows of his Australian tour have been between 25-30 songs a night which is pretty impressive for any solo act. The crowd seemed quite tame, even for a solo acoustic affair, but Elvis was charismatic and put on a hell of a show.

Definitely someone worth bringing out to Bluesfest in future years. Maybe with a band in tow..

Yes he definitely was.

Either Solo or with a band would be great. I guess though that some wouldnt classify him as a headliner as the younger people in the festival wouldnt understand him or be attracted to him in big numbers but who knows.
