If anyone has any reliable sources, stumbled upon a magazine quote, or heard an accidental artist leak, here is the place to tell us. A reminder again from years past - this is not the place for requesting, just some idle gossip about who is coming.

Trumpet bells ringing
Bass drum is swinging
As the trombone groans
And the big horn moans

Had a beer last nite with Sheedy from Johnny Green's Blues Cowboys who hinted that this could be their last 12 months gigging so I reckon they'd have to fit BF in the farewell tour, surely?

PS YoungBill, over to you for some others...I reckon you'd know a rumour or two

Buddy Guy is without doubt the best guitar player alive.......the way he plays is beyond anyone. Amen

Saw B.B. King play last night in Athens, Georgia. Amazing! He said at one point that he's played in 90 countries and wants to return to many of them... I'm clinging to it!

Doesn't hurt that a few weeks before Bluesfest he's on a co-headline tour with Buddy Guy... they're totally just rehearsing for an Australian tour culminating in one hell of a night at Crossroads.

Peter Noble did hint at Buddy hopefully being back next year in a post a few months back, so I should be at least 50% right!

Pete sure did. I think it is probably more than 50% if we add in the "guitar lovers festival from hell" comment. I also remember Pete mentioning 'fingers crossed' for Dave Matthews. Not sure I can find anything else he has mentioned in regards to specific artists.

In the latest Rhythms magazine an advert says Chris Smithers is touring Australia in March. let's hope it is late March.
