Regurgitator plays "The Velvet Underground and Nico". Saturday night headline at Jambalaya, if it's not too much to ask.

Now that the Jay Z rumour has been put to bed, here's a little taste of the recent Glastonbury Festival from a few artists I would love to see at Bluesfest

FirstAid Kit - those voices, those harmonies - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reU2NG_faM4

Barry Gibb - bailed this year but would still be welcome - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2ivHgTV-R4

Lorde - great little pop song from a real talent https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3urw1bnEMM

Royal Blood - playing in Australia this month - far more interesting duo than The Black Keys - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-QpskjS1JU

Elbow - if only for the chance to sing along to this Brit classic - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pSzEurHmMc

The Killers - an excellent version of Mr Brightside and what a crowd. All those young people having a ball and raising the roof off the tent and not a rap artist in sight Drool

I for one will put my money on Bob Seger. He is scheduled to tour in the second half of 2017 with the Silver Bullet Band.It would be nice to have an artist who is a first timer as headliner.

I'd really love to see some artists who just don't tour Australia that often, if at all.

Natalie Merchant would put on an amazing performance.

Iron and Wine are about to release a new album...

Hollie Cook and Yola Carter, two british artists (one ska/reggae/lovers rock, the other gospel/americana) who Australia don't seem to know exist but I think would go down well.

Also if you want to keep adding a "current" artist to attract the younger generation, how about Lana Del Rey ?

And last but not least Headliners like Peter Gabriel, Stevie Nicks and Stevie Wonder.
