How about the Pigram Bros. A little bit of Kimberley magic wouldn't go astray.

I'll second that motion. Fantastic W.A. talent and good musos. I think it seems a bit hard to entice them to travel far from home.

My brother reckons they are fantastic live and great blokes to have a chat with.

No sure they travel too far from home though.

WIth Bob Seger about to hang up his touring boots and our inability to buy his albums locally, wouldn't it be a grand gesture if we could convince him to come to Australia!

Would love to see him at Byron. Hopefully Peter can convince him.

Loretta Lynn is a fantastic idea.
Given that is unrealistic, there is an obvious solution.
Book Eilen Jewell again.
She has after all, recorded a tribute album to Loretta Lynn & has done a very fine job.

Eilen Jewell booked for Broadbeach.
Hope she ventures over here as part of her world tour.
The fact that she has been booked by various Au festivals underlines her popularity and also a musical package which is presently popular.

Robin Trower has already announced a run of shows in the USA at the same time as Bluesfest so he's out.

Old mate Harvey is going to that show. Apparently neo nazis taking over concert security in them parts. The Samoan mafia dropped the ball and Trumps boys stepped in.

Playing in California in Jan 2018, containing none of the original members!

Mike's backing band will be guitarist Christian Nesmith and keyboardist Jonathan Nesmith, steel guitarist Pete Finney, bassist Jason Chesney, drummer Christopher Allis and singers Circe Link and Amy Spear.

Lots of bands only have one original member.
Doesn't matter so long as fans of the band get the sounds they like.
Some of us live in areas where alot of the stuff we see is tribute bands.
There are some great tribute acts out there.
Can't be too fussy.
