This festival for me was the best by a very long way in terms of guitar brilliance.
In no order
Lloyd Spiegel -must be invited back
Jeff lang-virtuosic
Vasti jackson -other wordly
Ray Beadle -usual brilliance
Davy Knowles-great feel
Buddy Guy-the king
Santana-the other king.
Honorable mention-Mat Hill-very nice player and bloke.
Thank you bluesfest for assembling this amazing collection of guitarists.
Early bird ticket purchased in anticipation of similar brilliance next year

I would add Laura Chavez to the list. Her combination with Matt Hill was outstanding.

I know he plays the ukulele but from what I saw over the five days Jake Shimabukuro can mix it with the best of them in terms of fret shredding!

Every day above ground is a good day!
