Jaw dropping show.
One complaint-too big an act for crossroads.
Thankfully crowd was well behaved. It was sardine like.
Those wearing hats kindly removed them when asked.

Stunning show. What musicianship. What energy. Even coped with the obligatory drum solo.

Sound so much better in Crossroads than during vintage trouble's set the previous night.

Tried to get into the disabled viewing platform but no luck.
So many chairs around that area it was impossible.
Why have the platform when the people who need them can't get access?
All good in the end as I got a good view of the big screen outside the tent...put on a great show!

far too big an act and no crowd control. It may have been fine where you were but I was pushed, shoved aside and generally trampled by the constant throng trying to access the standing room at the front or exit it because it was too crowded. It totally distracted and detracted from my enjoyment.

If an emergency had occurred the crowd stampede would have been extremely dangerous.

Agree with you 100 %
I should have said the crowd was good were i was.
But you're right,it could have been very dangerous.
Wrong tent for Santana..
I'm sad for Mr coke, those needing disabled access should get it no matter what.

Couldn't get anywhere near the Crossroads tent or the screen. Stayed for 20 minutes then went over to Mojo to watch Michael Kiwanuka.

Turin Brakes were my favourite act yesterday.

Mr Coke in due course got a decent position in front of the outside screen.
It was suggested that he should have gone into the disabled stand via the back of the tent, but I went and had a look & it would have been impossible.
The size of the crowd to be expected at this gig was a known factor.

I figured that any side may be impossible given the crowds of chairs all round the tent.
The chair problem seems to now be not so much in the tents but around them.
It's got to the point where it's not only those that may need access to the viewing platforms but punters in general.
For those that did need to use the platforms & got to them what if they needed to visit the loo? Impossible.
& then if they to get back?- even more impossible!
Not sure if I'll be back again or not but let's hope this can be sorted ASAP for all given some of the things that we're going on that night.

Another great year ....one complaint...I was up close and in the middle of the stage for Santana...was it just me or did being near the front end up being one big mess of noise....couldn't even hear him play most the time or really appreciate the fine musicians he has with him...changed when I moved out of that area towards the back of the tent after fighting the crowds to get out...I know festivals can be hard to get the balance for sound....but come on ....very disappointed.
