Thank you ,at least there is someone on Bluesfest Forum that can grasp the concept of an honest legitimate question and observation.

The previous few years (since they changed the rules about not being able to take in cameras with removable lens), security hasn't really hassled anyone holding cameras or phones up taking those "long photos". Hope it the same this year.

It may be different if you took in a camera sold as a video camera & a few years ago, someone was told to un tape their go pro from the rail.

Hi Art, If this is your first post then welcome to the forum :)

I'm not Admin, but mobiles are ok and yes people do occasionally hold them up and film stuff, (including bands) Some bands try to discourage it, (Lumineers particulary) some punters like myself get friggen annoyed with it, mainly because it blocks the view. I think its reasonably clear that Bluesfest try to discourage it as "I believe" its written on the video displays in between the bands sets "no recording equipment" as well as "dont tear off your drink tabs" and "don't hassle the koala's" and "keep the noise down as you leave the car park" ect,,,

So its a common sense issue and a courtesy one as well.
