once again I thank bluesfest for bringing the james cotton band out. I was so glad to hear the man that influenced so many.
r.i.p. james cotton. blues harp master.

I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

Very sad news. One of the last of the old school bluesmen, and oh man could he play the harp. My wife has a close up photo of him from jazzfest some years ago where his face is in perfect focus and his right hand just a blur. So happy that bluesfest brought him out a few years ago so that Australian audiences could see for themselves one of the last remaining blues legends - and he still absolutely had it! RIP.
