is it too early to start discussions on what beer and food we would like to see this year?
I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

Certainly not Waffles. I look forward to the waffles at Bluesfest, they're so yummy, especially the apple and cinnamon. I also like the Japanese food near the Delta stage, their food is so fresh. The wood fired pizzas are good to grab and go. I stay away from anything spicy and the organic donuts too sweet for me. Two years ago there was a delicious middle eastern pizza served with zaatar spice and fresh mint to die for and iced teas. I wish they would come back. I drink beer, just keep it cheap and cold. Last year the cute coffee shop with the yummy cakes and hay bales for seats disappeared, please come back.

Pod
A discerning old would indeed be a welcome cleanser to a Little Creatures Pale Ale or a Feral Hop Hog.

What happened to Govindas? Been missing the last couple of years. I'm not a vegan but their food is excellent and great value. Every time I'm forced to go to Brisbane to see a band I try and grab a meal at their restaurant in the city. $12.50 for all you can eat feast.(best curries ever)
As for beer . I'm happy with what's on offer as I don't usually drink those brands so It's good for a change.

I would like to see the beer & wine ticket gone & replaced by bars where you can by a drink just like the bar they had last year near the Delta stage.

We'd all like that but the licensing laws require it. I'd like to see a bigger range of beers, but what I'd like more is to have beers available on the second last and the last day, when anything decent is gone and you can't use your ticket for something else. Our crew always have a massive group cook-up breakfast and I'm rarely ever hungry again so I don't eat much inside the festival. But I love the variety. And I agree with others, I miss Govindas. Low carb' beer would be a good option.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion man...

I can't afford to drink at the festival anymore. But then again, I can't even afford the pub prices. The reason is once I start drinking I like to have a few and it adds up quick. So nowdays I wait for the woolies 10 dollar six pack shopper docket specials.
And so I would like to see some mango smoothies and coffee frappes at Bluesfest. Same price as a can of beer and heaps better value and healthier.

just a thing on the low carb beers.i am currently trying a carton of coopers clear but.....if it is still full strength it must still have the sugar and kilojoules....correct? but as stone and wood are just up the road in Byron and I think somehow connected to the alcohol supplier, surely we could have the caravan at the fest!!. failing that,i did like the beer garden just south of the crossroads stage...with draught beer...and no tickets...and james squires on tap. we could actually watch taj mahal from the bar. we could only hope for govindas return. or should that be hare hare.

The inferences or should I say alleged inferences concerning beverage supply and subsequent alleged consumption should be investigated as how you have may, or may not, alluded to reduce the costs of the Bluesfest punter wanting to enjoy a quiet one at a more affordable price.

Hopefully plenty of Vegetarian options food wise.
And plenty of spirit options drink wise, the last few festivals I've been to only offered beer, wine, bourbon and rum.

I have no comment. I like quite a few of the food and beverage options inside the fence. I think they could do better with the beverage options. And Stone and Wood, as suggested above, is a very, very good idea.
