Morning of the Earth was very big on the Northern Beaches, as was the band
But this still stands out for me after reading a feature in an afternoon paper in the late 60s

Strewth, I feel old. I saw Tamam Shud at the first Sunbury festival back in 1972 (Gerry Humphreys from the Loved Ones was the MC) and they were fantastic. So was (the late) Greg Quill and Country Radio, Maxie Merritt and of course the Aztecs.

I remember reading about this somewhere ages ago, but that was such an interesting Wikipedia page Greybeard.

It's such an interesting cold case, so much weird speculation. My mates best friend whom he had known from high school was found dead on Glenelg beach naked and presumed drowned around eight years ago. Nobody knows why he went swimming naked at midnight but the cops just said "possible suicide" and that was it, end of story.

I wish they'd either release this on CD, or put it up on iTunes.
It's their latest studio album from 2016; thus far only released on vinyl.
Yes, it comes with a download card, but at a cost of $42!
I don't think many of the mid-20's hipsters I usually see perusing record racks are gonna be into it!

Check out the youtube playlist above. You can listen to the whole album. Chris Blanchflower - harp player from Country Radio - financed the project and plays on it.
