What does the Fri night schedule look like?

What makes the most sense from a crossroads perspective (that’s if Jimmy is playing the Mojo)

Would be as follows:

Mary J Blige
Michael Kiwanuka
Rhiannon Giddens
Gallant

Time to elevate Rhiannon from the busker stage she was on last year to a real stage with sound fitting for such an artist.

Kiwanauka deserves a proper time slot 90 mins. You go to UK or Ireland and he would be headlining Fri night. At least have him on when the sun goes down…..

What about Mavis Staples?
I think she would be great just before Mary J Blige

Michael Kiwanuka would be late afternoon as sunsets maybe?

My only request for the Friday is that the Patti Smith acoustic set and Jimmy Buffett aren't back to back, assuming they're on the same stage.

Mavis last time was absolutely awesome, Peter even got up on stage with her to thank her and the band.
I'm with you Humanracin that she could fit anywhere, can hold her own with anyone, and probably out perform most acts.

I'd rather see Rhiannon Giddens on Jambalaya.

My hope for Friday is to see Patti Smith on the Mojo stage late afternoon followed by:

In order: Michael Kiwanuka, Mavis Staples, Mary J Blige on Crossroads.
