Seeing him next week in Brisbane, can't wait.
I've seen Nick perform live over a dozen times, more than any other artist but he always manages to blow me away...

Dear Human
He is at the top of his game.
The band are all exceptional
Strap your seat belt on.
I've never seen him crowd surf so much.
Excellent set list.

When they go low-we go high.

The Auckland gig was amazing too. I wish we'd sorted tickets to come over for a Melbourne show as well. Just brilliant!

Oh my God
Thanks for the clips
I'm not sure I'll see anything better this year.

The clips are great. Really looking forward to tonight. Be interesting to see how the boys go in those suits in Brisvegas though!

Wow, the Nick Cave experience and what an experience it was. He can be so intense , it was easy to be swept up in the whole show.

And that band!! Full sensory overload.

Just a pity the venue curfew robbed us of a longer encore.

Ha Ha it even made it into the Brisbane rag today when he told the audience "it costs thousands of $ per minute if he goes over the curfew time".

I was lucky enough to have seen them in Wellington (Tuesday 17) and Brisbane (Wednesday 25).

It's unfortunate that the riverstage appears to be the only Brisbane venue in the middle crowd size range, with the Triffid et al being fantastic venues, but too small and places like Boondall too big and cavernous for an act like NC&TBS.

In the Wellington venue (think Festival Hall Brisbane if you know it), the intimacy and the sound were both starkly different (better) when compared to sitting on the side of the hill in Brisbane. Having said that, from where I was, a few people left of front of sound desk, he certainly held the crowd. Can't speak for up the hill further.

In Wellington, they did 'god is in the house', my favourite, so I was pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty happy.

The new album sounds very bloody good live.

I was commenting to some other fans, who like me, have followed NC in all forms for some decades now, that a NC&TBS gig these days is 90 minutes of beautiful music, well written and beautifully played and 30 minutes of hard core old school NC, wild, powerful and hilariously good fun.

About the reverse of their gigs 20 years ago, when it was 90 minutes of chaos interspersed with some quiet beauty.

He is aging with me, and I am most happy to be aging along with him.

Both great shows, different shows. Warren Ellis as always, 10/10.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion man...

I have grown to really dislike the Triffid.

It's like an oven when there's anywhere near a full house.

Eatons Hill is a pretty good size venue, pity its so far out of the city though.
I quite like the Riverstage as a venue... as long as its not raining.
Great show on Wed night, I thought the set was long enough, he played pretty much all of the new album bar one song and plenty of classics.

Brilliant.
Bruce is really going to have to step up next week to match this.

When they go low-we go high.
