Ahhhh, Phish. Sunday night in crossroads. That would be very special indeed.

I was lucky enough to see them in 04' when they were last on tour. Pure magic.

Eivor looks very interesting. Worth some more investigating me-thinks.

Bass drum is swinging
As the trombone groans
And the big horn moans

So many great suggestions to choose from anyway most of mine have already been mentioned so for some I'm reinforcing the notion that you'd better take notice of the people's vote......just kidding your doing great as long as my main man "Tony Joe White" is still walking the planet.....I'am travelling from Dubai in the Middle East to see him.....have already bought my 5 Day tickets X 3 Plus my room upstairs at the Beach Hotel....how rapt am I.....Here are some more to add:
J.J.Cale
Eric "the man" Clapton
Carlos "the King" Santana
CCR..Credence Clearwater Revival
Stanley Clarke
The Band

That'll do me just fine............wishful thinking......for 2009...

CCR Hmm that would be hard given one of the fogerty boys is dead perhaps you were going to use a medium there? Besides CCR hasnt been together for Years. As for J.J., Our Eric and Santana how much do you want the tickets to be? I hate to be a realist in these tough times but with the Australian Dollar worth next to nothing and the world economy not great to get the acts you mention together would consume Bluesfest budgets for the next 5 to 10 years.

The Dr is in the house

To suggest that some of us are requesting nostalgia acts is not correct.
As this 2009 thread demonstrates.
And subsequently,a number of these acts have graced the Bluesfest stage.
Brian Setzer's Rockabilly Riot,Candye Kane Band,Suzanne Vega,Big Bad Voodoo Daddy,Tribali,Wilco,Dave & Phil Alvin,Two former members of Room Full Of Blues played in Jimmy Vaughan's band,The Paladins,Maceo Parker,A former member of BR549 in Bob Dylan's band,The Fabulous Thunderbirds,Various artists from Texas & Louisiana.Duke Robillard was scheduled,.and original ASATW member Lucky Oceans played with Little Band O Gold.

Nick Curran & Prince & Candye Kane have sadly left us.
But the rest are still with us.
And we have had Roy Ayers this year.
