"One of our most highly requested artists will be revealed ....."

Going by my recollection of forum requests over past three years of doing the Bluesfest thing, am dreaming of Steve Wonder, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Van Morrison or The Who.

And who knows who the other "famous and much loved musician" headliner will be.

Whoever they are I know am loving the rapid fire announcements. Schedule looking might fine already.

Don't know why Van Morrisons name keeps being mentioned on this forum when it is clearly never going to happen.
Neil Young is a frequent request.

How about Peter Gabriel, Paul Rogers, and KD Lang. All three would be perfect or I will take any of them.

Maybe...Neil Young, The Who or Roger Waters would be the most likely.

Given that we have had two historic acts,it appears logical that the next two will be designed to appeal to a younger audience, and be Mojo Headliners.
I cannot use the term mainstream audience,as the Doobie Brothers are about as mainstream as you can get.
Who was it that said that they "took it to the bank."

I'd rather David Gilmour over Roger Waters.

To me the announcement sounds like its describing solo artists and not bands.

Peter Garbriel would be an amazing surprise, but I still think one of them will be Neil Young.

Because Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real will be announced to return in 2017 after there superb 2016 sets, Neil Young will be announced as a headliner playing with Promise Of The Real.
Headline act - Neil Young & Promise Of The Real.
