The headline act on the generic poster is that artist all over the radio. I don't think this guy has had a song on the Australian singles charts in 10 yrs. The same applies to Kendrick Lamar - I've never ever heard him on the radio. If you look at it none of the headliners of bluesfest are ever on commercial radio. Youre miles off with that one pal.

you do realise that kanye west uses autotune on both his recordings and at his live performances... the man can't sing to save his life but thanks to technology you would never know.

When it comes to music nothing signifies artistic purity like a Grammys. Nothing but pure musicianship. Love me some Grammys

Dear Skot,
Are you going to be a goose all your life?

Next you'll tell me that MC Skat Kat didn't do all his own dancing in the Opposites Attract music video. Thanks for destroying someone's hope in humanity.

its a series that's definitely worth catching.

I can put up with the Steven Segal hype.
Daniel O Donald, Well thats a bit tougher to handle...

But please tell me that your new fan base isn't Kanye West.
Because I don't know how many KW posts I can take.

1996 was Pearl Jam's first and last time attending the Grammys and I guess they were there because they were told they had been nominated. As you can see, they didn't expect to win. They probably use their Grammys for toilet roll holders and door stops. Pearl Jam has more musical talent than Kanyidiot has in his little finger nail.

This is a thought, it will distress, cause angst, may entice a formidable forum debate and ultimately cause great wedges of musical/political alliances . Following up on his recent media appearances, albeit to flog his book, and the nationally touring expose of the bands history with all knick knacks plus sweaty, smokey, beer stained pub room smells included, its not a matter of will ,but when are the Oils reforming. Im guessing sooner rather then decrepid ,wheelchair later and I couldnt be as bold as saying, hoping, that our wonderful people at Bf already have their microscopes firmly focused on this spot ,fingers on the phone mercifully anticipating the inevitable resurrection . Much aligned to the Cold Chisel set of just recent years past, the festivals age demographic , and to those whom are too young to remember let alone experience a taste of what Aus pub rock was like in its absolute heydays of the 70s ,80s, a belting set from the oils is bf tonic, Aus style. Fingers crossed. Let the pilgrimage begin......... basically Midnight Oil to headline in 17 or 18.

It will be ACDC next year. I spoke to none other than Barnsey himself and he has confirmed that he's ready to take up the challenge and replace Brian Johnstone who has been basically kicked out of the band!!
