Very disappointed to see Sturgill Simpson has cancelled his Aus tour. I was very excited to see him live for the first time. Whilst I am also seeing side shows for Isbell and Tweedy, I have seen them both in Aus a few times before. Sturgill would have no doubt been fantastic live. Hopefully he will come to our shores again.

this is very disappointing news as I was very excited that sturgill was on the bluesfest lineup but I guess that is not to be now. hopefully he will return soon & I will get to catch him then.

This is terrible news. Cancelations really irk me especially when it means an extra trip down south to see him if he was to return.

I have been advised to say.

:( that's not good. I wish him the best. Bring him next year if bluesfest can.

I have had his cd on play all week due to strong recommendations and his selection was part of the special 2016 vibe. He will have benefitted by being associated with such a strong line up and his music and profile will now be more widely known. I will be better informed if he comes back to bf in later years.

Fly Eilen Jewell in given that she is already in Au for Easter.
