anyone looking for resort style cabin accommodation in Byron for bluesfest, there is a newly renovated and expanded resort at west Byron....elements of Byron.
you head north along bayshore drive(where the big B.P. servo is on ewingsdale road) its reno is due to open in february.
they are going to have a 2 carriage train running into Byron every 15 minutes.
alongside the resort is a new pub(12 months old)
this is probably the closest resort to the bluesfest site and I think it has 100 cabins.
I am not in any way associated with this resort and I do not know what their prices will be.

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

We had a meal at the sun bistro the Tuesday after bluesfest. Was good pub grub.

Dear Skot,
Are you going to be a goose all your life?
regards

I walked in past there off the beach going to the shops, when I was in Byron for a a couple of days in August, there was still plenty going on.

And a lot more to happen from what I could see.

Some of that area used to be the old Byron Bay Beach Club, with the flying trapeze and little golf course, which they once wanted to turn in to Club Med, and that got knocked back.

I wonder which would have turned out to be the better option?
