Every wonder what sniffer dogs get up to when they are not used to harass punters at music festivals potentially causing overdoses among scared teenagers feeling that they are forced to injest whatever substances they are carrying due to the presence of these "animals".

Let's see more footage of police raiding outlaw bikie club houses with swarms of dogs etc and arresting real Crims instead of terrifying the mentally ill etc.

I agree I'm tired of this crazy policy too - it's unaustralian to simply comply or support with defective laws that put our young uns at risk and also erode our civil rights - I agree greybeard Australia has had enough..

Have a read it's music related ..

“Some listening may have little sympathy for these people…but I ask you, please put yourself in their families position, put yourself in their friends position, when I tell you that their friends could have been saved if we had a drug policy which used love instead of fear…and that they would have been alive today had we treated them with respect instead of trying to force them not to take drugs."

I actually enjoy watching the sniffer dogs bust random people.
Its become one of our favourite bluesfest pastimes.
Now that they have seats outside its even better.
People were cheering last year, it was great fun.

I must have a weird sense of humor.

This is certainly an exciting new topic.

Shocking re todays breaking news.

If this can happen in one of Australia’s safest environments (Bunnings) imagine what could happen at one of the worlds largest music festivals – this is grounds enough to have this crazy dangerous practice stamped out.

it really would be lovely to read topics about music -
I really am tempted to delete this topic if it keeps being pushed to the top with posts that have nothing to do with music festivals
let's call this a first warning

Agreed there should be a reference to music and festivals in this thread.

This was a great live music event and the organisers even made note that there were no nasty pooches invited. This article also contains information and was published by the most popular political party in Byron.

Would be great to see BF follow this music festivals lead and ban the mutts.

It's funny how great Australian festivals with similar line ups don't have these dogs and you don't see a single person wasted or causing trouble. I've never seen dogs at the BMFF in its 20 years.....

I agree with deleting it forthwith.
Anyway,we already have sufficient threads about sniffer dogs.
So there is no reason to add another one.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.
