Could be some acts coming through this festival and onto byron as its one week before BF 2016.
Would be a bit silly to have 40+ international acts go to NZ and not to Australia . Would definitely expect a couple of big names on the lineup
( with some posters suggesting Neil Young for next year , this could be the perfect opportunity for it to happen)

Excellent to see lots of Bluesfest acts playing in Auckland.
More exposure for the artists and assists Bluesfest with booking those artists.

Auckland City Limits is a cashless festival. No cash, eftpos or credit/debit cards are accepted in exchange for any goods on site.

The only method of payment is Auckland City Limits Cashless, right on your wristband. Everyone purchasing a ticket to Auckland City Limits Music Festival will receive a non-transferrable wristband - you can choose to have this wristband sent to you before the festival with a small courier charge or to collect it at the festival box office on the day. This wristband contains a microchip to identify you as a ticketholder as well as for making payments at bars, food vendors and stores around the festival.

Is this a possible solution for the problem of long lines for beer tickets? No mention of what happens to unused credit.

The cashless wrist bands were great, didn't stop long lines for beer though, some people were waiting up to an hour for one low strength beer. And the money was refunded if you didn't use it. The music was great though! St Paul & The Broken Bones were AMAZING! Can't wait to see them again this weekend. :)
