Anyone going?

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

Yeah me too you would think they would have been booked by now though

I got a ticket to Out On The Weekend the other day.
They are still early-bird prices which could mean sales aren't too good.
I can't see the promoter letting the headliner have sideshows in the city as it will stop people travelling out to Bella Vista for the festival.
$79 for a Dawes, Johnny Fritz, James Thomson, and a bunch of other musos is alright by me.

I'm going to the Melbourne Out on the Weekend, and then the Patti Smith tribute gig the next night also in Melbourne as part of the Melbourne Festival.

Any forum people going to either of those?

Beers?

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion man...

The Sydney leg of the Out On The Weekend Festival has been cancelled.
Real shame. I was quite looking forward to it.
As well as a refund you can get free tickets to shows by a number of the artists.
JAMESTOWN REVIVAL Thursday October 22nd
SAM OUTLAW, JONNY FRITZ, SHELLY COLVIN & FRIENDS Sunday October 25th

The choice of venue is probably what stopped ticket sales.
40 minute drive from the city. The closest train station being Blacktown, which is 15 minutes from the venue.
Cant help but think had it been in the Inner West ticket would have sold out ages ago.
