Just got home from the first recording session for Mark Seymour and The Undertow's upcoming live album. A solid three hours covering the wide range of Mark's catalogue. I look forward to the album's release in 2017.

Verridale Hall . I'm sure it will be the best $25 spent this week.

The Living End sounds epic as well.

Yep and he will be back at Hanging Rock as well.

Same promoter is also trying very hard to get Paul McCartney down here in Feb/March so they say

Dont think i've have the patience for the boss.. no need for anyone to do a stadium concert for more than 2 hrs really. I would like if he just did born in US and left it at that one of the best albums of that year for sure.

Recently saw the legendary Shakin Stevens in Poland (warsaw) last week – it was just amazing to see such an iconic 80’s performer who’s catalogue is much much more than merry xmas every one.. Saying that I was glad he chose to sing it given it was snowing outside. He has such a diverse fan base the mans a legend, totally unique..

Punch Brothers were stunningly good. Great venue Angel Place, sound was excellent as was audience (loud applause between songs but "pin drop" quietness during).

This song the highlight

Recently saw Claire Anne Taylor and William Crichton at Republic in Hobart. She was sick with the flu but still sounded great while Crichton was a revelation. Last saw her at Bluesfest in 2014, year after she won the Busking contest. Her debut album Elemental is just out. Think both would fit in very nicely in Juke Joint in 2017.
