The first documentary made with the cooperation and support of Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain's family will be released in 2015, more than 20 years after the iconic rock star's death.

The project is being produced by Cobain's daughter, Frances Bean Cobain.

Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck was set to focus on the star's life through the lens of home movies, journals and previously unheard music.

They got the cocaine, oxycontin, mushrooms, marijuana
Vodka, plastic pop-off, twist one off
Yesterday I smoked, today I don't
Yeah, yeah, yeah

I can't believe that was twenty years ago.

When Punk first came out it was so uber cool.
Then Sid killed himself and everything changed.
Same thing happened with Grunge, end of an era.

I can relate to Courtney, (I don't believe she is a black widow)
I think their relationship imploded and Kurt didn't want to live anymore.
Very similar to what happened to Sid and Nancy except in reverse.
Courtney probably would have gone down with the ship had Francis not been born.
Maternal instincts kicked in, and she put her life back together.

Of course this is all speculation but its my birthday today (50)
So I'm allowed a longer rant than usual :d/

Happy birthday Bam I'll have a beer for you

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

B. Dylan

I'm more than happy with belated gifts of taxi vouchers to the value of $1000 . . . Thanks in advance. Eh?

Happy birthday to you as well Cokebloke. I had planned to surprise you with a taxi voucher to the value of $1000 but sadly it sounds like you've already got given this gift so you'll just have to be happy wish "birthday wishes".

Thanks glenboss those @ BF gave me the best easter gif I could hope for.. Who need chocolate eggs when I now know things will workout well again this year.
Got a message on Facebook with a contact number to call so all is good & will allow me to cruise round the bf site giving me a chance to meet up with others.
So keep an eye out for the scooter hoon with a can in one hand & I smile on his face ... That'll be me.
When it comes to bf I'm always up for a meet'n greet with fellow posters.

When it comes to Nirvana i can't say that I've seen them live but a mate of mine went to a place in canberra called the ANU bar long ago & was surprised to see a huge lineup for the band on offer that night.
Nirvana were playing back in the days just before the band broke into the big time.

As for me the closest a came to the same was a few months back seeing Kurts widow Courtney coincidentally
With the same guy.
I was a little unsure but as things turned out it was not nearly the disaster I may have expected.
The free ticket free meal & free drinks may have had some impact but all up not to shabby.

Nice photo eileenk9,

She looks a lot like her dad,,,

I saw Hole in Brisbane in the 90s when Courtney's arms were bleeding.
I enjoyed the concert, even with people abusing her while she spat back at us.
It was a strange surreal experience, I could hardly recognise the songs.
They are not a band that plays like they sound on CD,,,

Frances has Kurt's eyes but I think she mostly looks like Courtney .. well the way Courtney did before she changed her face with cosmetic surgery
