When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

I have it! It's a cracker. The song writing is fantastic not a bad song on there. I have the vinyl version on order too. Close to my album of the year!

Absolutely sensational album produced by TBone Burnett with a supergroup comprising of at least 3 bluesfest alumni including Elvis Costello and lead singers of Dawes and My Morning Jacket. Had it on constant replay last night. Would love to see this live

Editorial Reviews
Lost On The River: The New Basement Tapes is a music event 47 years in the making. It's an historic album project from five of music's finest artists -- Elvis Costello, Rhiannon Giddens (Carolina Chocolate Drops), Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes), Jim James (My Morning Jacket) and Marcus Mumford (Mumford & Sons) -- in unique collaboration with a 26-year-old Bob Dylan. Produced by project creator T Bone Burnett, the album was recorded in March, 2014 at Capitol Studios in Hollywood, where the artists and Burnett convened for two weeks to write and create music for a treasure trove of long-lost lyrics handwritten by Bob Dylan in 1967 during the period that generated the recording of the legendary Basement Tapes. The collective completed and recorded dozens of songs, the first 20 of which appear on this deluxe edition.

OK guys, you've sold me, THANKS

Heading out for the East Coast / Lord knows I've paid some dues gettin' through, / Tangled up in blues.

A few songs are Dylan like. Jim James has good shot at the phrasing in some of the songs. I have listened to the album a few more times since my original post. Outstanding!

I have listened once and it sounds excellent. I particularly liked Taylor Goldsmith and Rhiannon Giddens, who is lead singer of Carolina Chocolate Drops , who would be great to see at Bluesfest. I would expect the album to get even better after more listens, as with most T Bone Burnett produced albums.

They played 'Nothing To It' last night on Jimmy Kimmel.
Would be great to see these guys live.
I also loved the other supergroup Jim James was involved in, 'Monsters Of Folk', with Conor Oberst, M. Ward, and Mike Mogis.
