Australian tour announced.
Great news
Judging by dates however, Bluesfest might miss out.

When they go low-we go high.

yeah BF will miss out and also Blue Mtns. Fest too unfortunately was really hoping to see him there but the NZ date throws a spanner in the works if you pardon the pun.

I'm happy about 5th row tix for Angel Place, probably prefer that to seeing him at a festival.

On his only visit to Bluesfest in 2004 he played solo acoustic.
Would have been great to have him electric and with a band.
As per the two contrasting appearances at Bluesfest by John Hiatt.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.

At Angel Place he "opened" for himself, played a short solo acoustic set & then the electric trio. Wonderful show, Richard in fine form with both guitar & vocals & Michael Moore on drums was sensational, actually found my eyes straying from Richard's guitar a few times.
