I have a great affection for ac/dc.
First band I ever saw -nearly 40 years ago.
In my opinion, Malcolm rates as one of the world's greatest guitarists.
I knew the news was bad but this is beyond sad.

When they go low-we go high.

A hero of rock one of the all time greats - at least he's still with us. Would have done some hard living in the early days - standing in front of those amps for all those years night after night 2-3 hrs at a go for 30++ yrs - way louder than the stones .. Absolute legend

I always thought it was Vander and Young's production that really made their early albums as much as Bon Scott's vocals. It will be interesting to see what the next album will be like without George and Malcolm.

This thread should probably be combined with the Police Dog thread.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.

Aussie (and NZ) drummers are the hardest in rock!

Did you hear about the boy who said to his mommy
When I grow up I want to be a drummer

Mommy answered - You can't do both
