the following was posted in the latest eblast on the bluesfest website:

THE FIRST ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2015 WILL BE LANDING IN YOUR INBOX ON TUESDAY 2nd OF SEPTEMBER!

The countdown has officially begun! It is just over one week until we bring you the first round of incredible artists who will be shakin' and groovin' the stages at Bluesfest next Easter!

This means this is your LAST CHANCE for fantastic ticket deals as prices will increase BEFORE the sensational first artist announcement!

NOTE: Ticket prices will keep on rising as we continue to announce the spectacular talent for Bluesfest over the coming weeks, so what are you waiting for?!

We have one of our BEST Bluesfest announcements coming to you next week.

It will be an announcement of Contemporary artists and some returning favourites, followed a couple of weeks later by the addition of the legendary & renowned, with many more to come after that.

I am yet to put my entry in for the first announcement VIP prize,
All these extra clues are helping narrow the field.
Right now I'm thinking,

1. Billy Bragg (announced)
2. Trombone Shorty (based on returning favourites)
3. Get your pen and calendar ready????

Just got to figure out the last one.

I know gregg Allman promised to return after his wrist injury last year. Has he kept his promise?

Trumpet bells ringing
Bass drum is swinging
As the trombone groans
And the big horn moans

He killed it. Hard to believe he was playing the Annandale only two years back.
