Ever wondered how much it costs to book artists for a fest?

They got the cocaine, oxycontin, mushrooms, marijuana
Vodka, plastic pop-off, twist one off
Yesterday I smoked, today I don't
Yeah, yeah, yeah

An interesting comp (no prizes, just the fun of participation) might be to give each board blogger $1million dollars and see who you might pick within that budget. Tag it:MCR- My Concert Rules. Followed by the sequel song- MCRB- My Credit Rating Blues

Blow the budget on Justin Bieber!! Seriously, an artist of the stature of John McLaughlin is excellent value, as are Rebirth and the Dirty Dozen Brass Bands (hint, hint for 2015).

Deer Tick and Jakob Dylan were pretty cheap how about grabbing them for next year

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

Debunked over on fasterlouder.

Possibly an amalgam of historical bits and pieces, but clearly, there is no way known that Train (do they even still exist) command more than twice as much as Queens of the Stone Age....(for example).

I just scanned through the list when I first saw it. Don't laugh but for some reason I was curious at how much it would cost to bring out someone like Nikki Hill to Australia who normally wouldn't tour. The only one that stood out like a sore thumb was Robert Randolph at $20-30k. I thought that couldn't be right.
