I must say, the passing of old bluesmen is sad but a part of life.

After seeing reviews on mathew curry here i gotta say im excited for the future of blues music. Some immense talent starting to emerge.

Probably my biggest regret was missing Curry, oh well.

Anyway moving forward, i was watching a Buddy Guy concert on the tube, when buddy bought out this little gem of a guitar player.

Quinn Sullivan, and he's only 14 years old!!! Nice to see blues is still alive and well with the next generation of players.

What I want to know is, whatever happened to this kid (Nathan Cavileri)... this was pretty good coming from a 10 year old:

nathan cavaleri plays in the band nat col & the kings who were fantastic back at bf 2011 when they played... i believe they are still going if not i'm sure he has moved on to other projects... oh & yes quinn sullivan is fantastic, he did his first guest spot with buddy when he was just 7 years old so he has been playing for a while now & really needs to play bluesfest next year.

I saw Nathan support BB King at the Hordern Pavilion. I think it was 1997. It was great. BB played a couple of songs with him as well
