I'm a little confused about what all the fuss is about with Grace Potter?

I caught her set last year and was underwhelmed. This year had pretty much the same feeling. Middle of the road rock.

Then it got me thinking........ Is it really the music or is it a very attractive female in a short skirt playing guitar and singing that everyone likes?

i was hungover and grumpy, yet she lifted me above all that.

That makes two of us who came to the same conclusion last year.
But as my ideal female profile is not Miss America or Top Model,I lasted only 3 songs in 2013.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.

I expressed my amazement at the rave reviews last year, where Susan Tedeschi was the real deal.

Heading out for the East Coast / Lord knows I've paid some dues gettin' through, / Tangled up in blues.

If you're talking BANDS - than the gulf only widens TTB to Nocturnals

Grace Potter brings the stage to life. High energy, great voice and original music. She mixes it up playing mutiple guitars and keyboard. What more could u want? TTB might be good musically but Grace turns up the heat with stage presence.

There are plenty of bands/artists that bring energy, voice and original music to the stage. Nobody goes to see Pink to be musically blown away. At the end of the day it's all subjective. I would personally rate TTB musically as one of the best going around. You don't see Susan dancing, jumping around and caring on to get the job done. Oh wait....... She's actually too busy playing the instrument. Shhh
