Thorogood would bring the tent down.

Might be a long shot but was wondering if Gary Nicholson a.k.a. Whitey Johnson, could get an invite.
If you've never heard of him, check out the clip at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqbDdiKOgM0&list=PLWEFw33JPCcpwMShWMKW9nYyPWfcDkclt

I saw Thorogood at Festival Hall in Melbourne in about 1997 and it was absolutely incredible! He'd have my vote for Bluesfest.

George was at BF around 2005 or so (?). He introduced Bo Diddley's set then played his own - but did not do "Who do you love", presumably out of respect.

How about Ian Hunter (ex Mott the Hoople)?
He's still touring with the Rant band in the USA and UK; and putting out great new albums. If you like Rock 'n Roll have a listen to "When I'm President".

Please get Zappa back again, last time there was technical troubles so he was cut short. A long set would be wonderful.

A mega name who is a great musician eg Eric Clapton or Stevie Wonder or Sting or Van Morrison. Then a great singer/entertainer eg Aretha Franklin or Joe Cocker. Then a unique talent who is impossible to categorise:Joni Mitchell. And finally someone who has one of the most astonishing guitar techniques I've ever seen and heard: Jose Feliciano.
