Sound was very good for Charlie and I also caught the tale end of playing for change, who were good as well.

The new chair rule in the bigger tents is fantastic, now I will go and watch some of the good doctor, and hope his newish band has improved.

He was amazing, no problem with crowds either, every tent seemed empty last night.
Massive amounts of room everywhere, love all the new tent configurations.

Magic Band was our pick yesterday, incredible drumming and musicianship.
Played to a small but loyal crowd, I think they actually suit Byron's eccentricities.
(must have won a few fans after their set)

That's exactly what I told my misses last night while we were watching him.
Even the band seemed velvet undergroundish somehow.

Garlands Band is Aussie Joes Band IE, the latest version of the Black Sorrows, and old mate of mine is on drums. They had done a small amount of rehearsing with garland and were very happy how it went.

I cannot get over how GREAT the Mothers and Magic band are.
If you like this kind of thing, these guys are delivering the goods in spades.
Some of the best music I have ever heard at this festival.
Also the Allstars in Juke Joint nailed it, and a great return for the Paladins.

I can't get away from these smaller stages.
