Hello,

We're looking to hitch a ride to Brisbane after the Bluesfest is done. We are a married couple, age 26 and 29. Will contribute for gas and transport cost!

Thanks.

I would venture to suggest that if you have a sign saying Brisbane then there will be a large number of Bluesfesters heading that way after close on Monday.
The big question will be the size of the vehicle, how many people are already in it,how much luggage they have, whether they can accommodate two more people, and how much luggage those two people will have. And finally, perhaps where in Brisbane they are going compared with where you are going.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.

hi eileenjweigel,
have you folks found a ride? i'm going up from melbourne for the 5 days, repeating what i did last year for a 3 dayer: flying into bris, picking up car, driving up to stay in lismore, shuttle in by car to byron (about 30k) each day. was real easy ( and inexpensive, given the easter weekend travel/accom costs :-)
So... i have to drop my car back near bris airport 8pm monday. ie. i didn't really have anyone playing on monday that i'm desperate to see, so was planning to head off early. if you guys still need a ride, i'm just glad for the company and we can leave early enough for me to get you into bris wherever you want to go.
small car (corolla size) - but just me and i'll be pretty light on stuff.
let me know if you want to take me up on this.
