For most of the weekend I can see myself here, there and everywhere....with little time being spent in Mojo at all. But on the Friday, it looks like I will pretty much be doing the whole day in Crossroads starting with Beth Hart and ending with the Doobies. Whilst Joss Stone doesn't move me a great deal, I'll stay for her set so I can establish a good stronghold for Buddy Guy, Boz Scaggs and then the Doobies. The only time I'll be outside of Crossroads will be to catch Garland Jeffreys set in Cavanbah earlier in the day. Having said that, on the same day, I can see arguments for having a full day in both Jambalaya and Delta.

Anyone else have a day where they see themselves in the one tent?

Other than quick breaks for fish tacos and bathroom, will be tied to the rail in Mojo on both Saturday and Monday awaiting DMB.

Wondering if any older people like my wife and I will be able to find a good place to sit "on our chairs" but outside the tents. Understand the new rules but I feel like it might be a bit tough for the "oldies" but goodies. Seems that the arrangements are good so hoping not days of pain more just pure blues. Hatz & Cara should not be missed they are sensational..

the provided chairs are only in crossroads and mojo...i think.
hopefully there are more big screens so if you are outside those tents you can see the band on the screen.
realistically,as soon as a band starts those on chairs in the tents will stand up..so i hope it will be better sitting outside the tents..if there are screens to see the bands.
im due for a knee replacement very soon,so i will be sitting... and taking painkillers.
someone suggested not going...as if thats gonna happen.Anxious

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.
regards

Probably Crossroads on Saturday, allthough I may wander a bit during Brother Aaron, as I have seen him a couple of times, in the last year.

Waffles you girl- i am booked in for replacement knee surgery on the 28th April straight after BF -I told my surgeon to hold off until after festival. Maybe we can all hobble along together to see Beth,Kate et al. Hope tp see you banged up legs and all pre bluesfest. You must come up to the Mullim Hilton to check out the digs.

Put off cancer surgery one year to get to bf-just got it in time otherwise the doc told me I wold have at least lost a couple of vital organs & at worst, well I would not be writing this.
Between the 3 of us we could play a game of "pain killer poker" to pass time between sets.
I can just see it.
"Bet you 2 Oxy's & raise you a morphine patch"
"I'm out, I only have a peck of panadiene forte"
At least we don't have to worry bout sniffer dogs.

They got the cocaine, oxycontin, mushrooms, marijuana
Vodka, plastic pop-off, twist one off

I'm in coke bloke seems you have much better drugs than me. Also your tale of dedication trumps me and waffles. You want to make sure maccain is not stalking you as you will get better drugs than he will past the sniffer dogs.Hope to catch up with you down there.

Have to agree with Space, will be spending most of the time wandering from tent to tent,
but will spend nearly all day in crossroads Friday.

So my theory that all Patricks are anti-royalists is correct.

I vote to ban the haka.
It is completely overexposed.
Only 3.1% of Kiwis play rugby union.
I believe that there are no Kiwis on the forum who are interested in rugby union.

Always up for a meet'n greet with a fellow poster spanner & when it comes to catching up I'm slowly ticking off the names of regulars on the bb.
If not bf perhaps Narooma- will you be going next October?

Between your makeup boots & suspenders and my cheeky little off the shoulder number I'm sure we would make an adorable couple for bf......who needs willy & Kate when you can have Waffles & coke.

1200km from Brisbane to Moruya.
And then there is the return trip.
Ok if you are a truck driver and used to it.
I used to drive the 960km from here to Nelson via the West coast in a day,and that was a long drive.
Flights from Brisbane to Sydney are $180 return.
From Sydney to Moruya are $320 return.
Return flights for me from Queenstown to Sydney are $750.
From Auckland or CHCH are $200 cheaper.
If you live in the Canberra area it is certainly a no brainer.
My brother who is coming to Bluesfest is presently working in Far West NSW.
To fly from Broken Hill to Moruya return is $945.
I suppose that beats a 15 hour bus trip each way.
