We're camping there and need to get to the site Fri-Mon. Anyone know of any public transport?

There are no scheduled bus services from Pottsville.
Suggest you both go to our website and check under travel for possible options - and call the office.

If you can find another 6-8 people from that area going to fest - then you can get a private bus - there are options listed on our website.
Pottsville is only 20 minutes drive to the site - BUT - there are no bus companies putting up their hand to drive the route.
If you have a car - that may be your only way currently or try car pooling
-again there re options listed on the website
Best of luck

Yes it is a bit out on a limb.
Bluesfest buses go to Billinugel.
Surfside buses service the Tweed Heads to Pottsville route.
It emphasizes that if you want to stay outside Byronshire, you have to also think about how you are going to get to Bluesfest.
It may be that once you have considered the additional costs of transport,it might sway you into staying within the area covered by public transport.
Alternatively you need your own transport plus a sober driver.
Or be prepared to shell out for a shuttle or limouisine.
In summary, both travel & accommodation need careful consideration as part of planning for Bluesfest.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.

Thanks. We have a car and therefore didn't check buses before booking. Just checking out alternative options should we not wish to drive.
