Just had look at the playing schedule...and it's a ripper. Obviously lots of thought has gone into it and there's still some fine tuning to be done but all in all it's spectacular (for me). Not too many clashes....very fest goer friendly. Well done Bluesfest team.

Just printed it off.
Took one minute to work out Thursday
16.00 either Dubmarine or Tijuana Cartel
17.30 Beth Hart
19.00 Suzanne Vega
20.30 The Magic Band
22.00 Grandmothers of Invention

A really bad clash for me is Robben Ford & The Paladins both playing at 18.00 on Saturday.

Friday's schedule shows some clever artist appearances with Charlie Musselwhite playing at 4.30
in the Juke Joint off the back of his latest brilliant release "Juke Joint Chapel"
Doobie Brothers in Crossroads at 9.45 can now sing "Rainy Day Crossroads Blues" as suggested
by a previous forum member. A few dampening showers that day would set the mood

schedule works really well for me, i've got 5 days & 34 full sets to attend thanks to the bluesfest team.
sure, there are a couple names i would like to catch who are clashing but you can't see everyone so you just deal with it & make the best of what you can at the festival.

Crossroads Sat 19th April

Gov't Mule into Gregg Allman into Jeff Beck. My guess is plenty of cross-pollination going on that night!

Bluesfest finishes at midnight- closing artists are encouraged to play long sets.
We believe DMB will play at least 2.5 hours
