This latest news was great in that it gave us some more brilliant performers to get excited over but I also really enjoyed reading the spiel about the Pollstar Awards. Congratulations to Peter and Annika and everyone else involved with Bluesfest. How satisfying it must be to you all. I’m just an attendee and even I’m excited by it. For Bluesfest to be recognised as one of the world’s best festivals is just amazing. What this means for all of us festival goers is that when we attend Bluesfest this Easter we are attending a festival that actually is “as good as it gets”. Well done everyone.

Very well said and I highly concur!

A great article in the Courier Mail.

Correction.
Clearly it was 1965 not 1975 that Peter Noble joined Clapham Junction.
I like Clary Browne & The Bangin Rackettes but they are up against mindboggling completion for timeframe in the lineup that is the Mother of all Bluesfest lineups.

I left school in 1971 so the Director cannot have left school in 1975.

A great article in the Courier Mail.

There was much more as well.
A 2 page article on Buddy Guy and another 2 pages featuring Joss Stone and a selection of the journalists picks for the festival.
