well spotted waffles - perfect choice for a rainy day in crossroads or any other venue they play in at BF. Hope this is in their set.

not sure what lineup we will get,but the doobies have had that many class players in the band over the years im sure it will be a worthy lineup.

Doobies setlist from 6/11/13 in Fort Worth Texas:
1. Jesus Is Just Alright (The Art Reynolds Singers cover)
2. Rockin' Down the Highway
3. Take Me in Your Arms (Rock Me a Little While) (Kim Weston cover)
4. Depending on You
5. Clear as the Driven Snow
6. A Brighter Day
7. World Gone Crazy
8. Neal's Fandango
9. Soquel Rag
10. South City Midnight Lady
11. Eyes of Silver
12. Takin' It to the Streets
13. Don't Start Me Talkin' (Sonny Boy Williamson cover)(with special guest Ray Benson on guitar)
14. Black Water
15. Long Train Runnin'
16. Encore:China Grove
17. Road Angel
18. Listen to the Music

The style of their music varies depending on the songwriter within the band, and yet remain uniquely Doobies.
I am very interested to see how Gary Clark Jnr's playlist will bridge his many different styles.

He generally throws in a bit of Hendrix!

Waffles I have 3 albums and 2 Ep's by Gary Clarke Jnr. so he has recorded quite a bit and he does cover Hendrix in a lot of his sets which shall have us all in raptures i'm sure.

My views too prior to seeing his show at the Tote 16 months ago. All I can say is no need to worry...

Gary Clark Jnr is playing 2 shows, so I (further) wonder how different they might be.
Something slightly different in my pondering, is where BF will place Devendra Banhart. Some of his music is quite wistful, which may place him in Jambalaya.
Final ponder for this morning, Boz at the Civic in Newcastle a few years back seemed a bit like the subject of his song, Miss Riddle and didn't quite know where to pitch his songlist. Somewhere between smooth jazzy, or Silk Degrees. He also seemed awkward on stage. As a result, many of the audience (self included) were a little underwhelmed. I am hoping for an upbeat Boz.
Of course, none of these things are important, except for pleasant little distractions. And all will be resolved simply by being there.
