Although not on the Blues and Roots website yet, you can be pretty sure the brilliant Jason Isbell (former member of Drive By Truckers) will be playing at the festival in 14. My basis for this prediction, it's on the Love Police website. ;) http://lovepolice.com.au/2013/07/jason-isbell-2014/
If you don't know his music, check out his latest album Southeastern. A flawless album IMO.

Thanks for posting this Space...........................As the world's #1 Band freak this track has been on high replay at home.

Just with The Band, it has been a tradition in our house that The Last Waltz DVD is played on Christmas Eve. Sort of homage to some other blokes!!!! Been doing it now for 10 years and with Levon's passing it will be even more relevant this year...........Only 15 more sleeps!!!!!!

Isbell was a great "find" for me on that Bluesfest tour he did with Justin Townes Earle. Seeing him with full band (well, cut back actually - he termed them the "Alabama Power Trio" for the night, but not solo in any case) was no less a treat. I'm a definite starter for next year's tour. A great songwriting talent - I think the Drive By Truckers are weaker for having lost him, although I think he's said he was in a bad way with some bad habits back in those days, so maybe for the best he got himself clear of it....

Have been listening a lot to Jason's 'Southeastern' album over the Xmas break. One of the very best album's of 2013 for sure.

This track is pretty heavy in content....remarkable song.
