First international act I ever saw was John Mayall in Melbourne in March 1972 (twice - Festival Hall and then Melb Uni).

Priviliged to meet him and a couple of the boys from the band at Tullamarine in 2010 when we were picking up our bags after flying down to Melbourne from Coolangatta (after bluesfest).
