Thats a big plus one from me. Plus Roben Ford, James Cotton Band ,Eric Bibb, Candy Kayne with Laura Chavez and Dr. John I am salivating at the possibilities of shared stages. I would be very happy to see Beth Hart grace the stage with Walter, Buddy, Roben or anyone she cares to jam with. I truly hope to get to see Buddy play with JCB. Walter has made some stunning cameos with DMB that would be great to see as well.Thank you again to Peter and his team for this stellar blues and roots line-up that is promising to be the best ever. Bugger off xmas and bring on easter I am so excited.

One of my special Bluesfest moments was when Luther came on and played with John Hiatt. Priceless!

IT JUST GETS MORE AND MORE PAINFUL EVERY ANNOUCEMENT

gonna miss a ripper!!

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

Suspect I'll enjoy Graham Central Station, not a group I'd think about as a stand alone, the beauty of B/F.
Gregg Allman, Aaron Neville, the Night Tripper,Steve Earle, Eric Bibb, C W Stoneking, M M F, Buddy, Candye,Charlie MW, Walter T, James Cotton all that's missing is Mr Hatfitz.

Heading out for the East Coast / Lord knows I've paid some dues gettin' through, / Tangled up in blues.

In my opinion, this is the best and most extensive blues line up in the history of bluesfest and arguably close to the best blues line up of any festival on the planet (Chicago included). Quite frankly, I'm gobsmacked.

There you have it.
An observation from the most knowledgable poster on the board.

Hopefully posters can now concentrate on the positives of who is coming rather than wishing for one headliner act to be added.
One headliner does not make a festival.
