Intriguing that both the paladins & candye kane are back in the same year.
Perhaps she might join dave on stage to sing this one.
At narooma she seemed quite a female icon with the audience.
great to see her back at bluesfest after all these years.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers. It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.

He channels the 60s Merseyside sound, like him a lot. Saw him on his recent tour, would be keen to see him again at Bluesfest.

Hi Fairy087,

Are you Bluesfest's Edward Snowdon? How do you know what the line up is?

Can you put Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gov't Mule, Robert Randolf, Burning Spear and Poor Mans Whiskey on the bill as well?

Thanks.

Wow - I had seven of these acts on my wish list. Outstanding work Peter and team you have truly made my xmas and can't wait for the best lineup ever. Beth, Walter, and Kandye, Buddy , Eric will be fest highlights for me. You have truly outdone yourself. James Cotton and NMA and Charlie too - you are blowing my mind. Looking forward to discovering Saidah as I am not familiar with her work but after a quick You- Tube glance she looks fantastic. Thanks again Peter for this great festival and the musical opportunities to present to those of us fortunate enough to be present each year at BF. I am sure next year will be my best ever.

An unbelievable announcement...probably the best ever for the blues enthusiast.
Don't know where to start but there is not one artist on this list that I will miss.
We need to remember who has been announced earlier, Jimmy Vaughan, Gary Clark Jnr, Valerie June, Greg Allman, Dr John, Robben Ford.
Yee-haaaa..................Blues Heaven!!!!!

Congratulations on securing what is without a doubt the greatest ever Bluesfest line up.

I daren't look at the playing schedule!!

Is it just my eyes/hazy memory or has the playing schedule changed a bit with the new announcement. I seem to recall the wailers playing on Sunday?
