So excited. Just reviewing the Big Sound lineup over two nights this week and to my utter amazement and delight discovered Billy Bragg is doing a special 40 minute set. Just a bit of a taster hopefully before Peter brings him back to BF next year. Some great music on in Brissy this week - off to see Russell Morris do Sharkmouth in the Spiegal Tent which is being done up as a 40's speakeasy. Billy is playing Wednesday night at 8.50. If you are in Brissy don't miss him as his current album is awesome.

Note for young players, Bakery Lane is TINY and will only fit a couple hundred people. Just cos you have a ticket doesn't mean you'll get to see him.

Robert Forster also playing that night at Black Bear Lodge. Another great potential Bluesfest candidate IMO.

Indeed it appears that will be the case.
