Worth some debate. the top 10 is solid enough, but for me 22-28 is where the creamy filling sits, with Phish the delightful cherry on top.

I think the high school intern put the list together.... Tool should be number 1 :)

Prince,Wilco,Dave Matthews Band,Leonard Cohen,Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are my top five on that list

Pearl Jam should be higher in my opinion. I can understand why Springsteen was number 1

Tool can be a bit hit and miss live. Part of the problem is the narrow set list they play and Maynard's all too often dis-intrerest in being present. They also need to outgrow the video show for melancholic 15 year old boys - it was interesting in 1996.

Hmmm... Other than a few positioning adjustments that list is pretty good.

2 notable omissions that I was very very happy to see. 1) Willy Nelson 2) Eric Clapton

2 Notable omissions that I totally think should have been there. 1) The Cure 2) Jason Mraz

Greybeard where do you find these classics. Part 1 could easily be Tony Abbotts theme song and Part 2 is just glorious research vindicating your position. Hats off to you sir.

Number 1; Don't quite understand your point sorry...

Number 2; I could give you 10 good reasons why my grandma is lovable too, but I still wouldn't want her perform at Bluesfest, and not one of them would support her being rated as one of the best 50 current performing artists....
