Hi Bluesfesters!

My name is Alex and I am a researcher for Channel 7's "Time of My Life" series which looks at the life and times of Australians aged 50 and over.

I am urgently searching for a fan of Jo Jo Zep who was a die-hard fan in the 70's and is able and wanting to attend the Joe Camelliri concert this coming Sunday 19th May in Sydney. We would also need to do a follow up interview with the fan the next day, Monday 20th May, in the Channel 7 studios in Sydney.

The criteria is:

* big fan in the 70s or 80s - still a fan today
* Age 50 +
* Male or Female
* Able to attend concert this Sunday 19th May in Sydney, and attend Channel 7 studios on Monday 20th May for a followup interview

I would be very grateful if you could urgently let me know if you fit this description, or if you know of anybody else who may be a good fit?

My details are:

email: ahowes@seven.com.au
Tel: (02) 9877 7481
Mob: 0402 359 445

Big thanks!
Alex Howes

Never really liked JoJoZep but I'm a BIG 'Black Sorrows' fan... The vinyl of their first album that I bought in the 80's is still one of my prized possessions....

I replied to Alex as I saw may memorable falcons gigs back in the day, one at the old Pacific Hotel at Lorne over Easter realy stands out.

They used to do a great version of Security.

But being back in Melbourne precluded my involvement.

I think an old mate of mine may be playing with them as the second drummer.

So I hope the gigs go well

If they really want a knowledgable fan,they need to be prepared to grease your palm in regard to travel expenses/loss of income etc to make it worth your while to travel from Melbourne.
It is very short notice.

"An artist never really chooses when and where they will play.It is for promoters to make offers.It comes down as to whether tours are financially viable." Quote John Mayall.
