Just curious, where does Blusefest accomodate the artists, and how are they transported, especially when traffic is heavy, and they are on such a tight schedule?

Goodluck with the enquiry, but I wouldn't answer either question
Re accommodation, privacy and security dictates this not be divulged
( Paul Simon was in the tent next to mine Shhh )

Any shortcuts would not be as effective if broadcast to the world.

Heading out for the East Coast / Lord knows I've paid some dues gettin' through, / Tangled up in blues.

I'm sure it would be a case of either BF own or rent a few homes nearby; artists are driven to and from Gold Coast and as in Paul Simon's case, a chartered plane flew in and out of Ballina on same day.

I am not sure, but got the impression when Elvis C did the weight with Mavis S a few years back that he'd been helicoptered in from the gold coast. And then in 2007 i had the great thrill of dropping my wife at Gold Coast airport on easter sunday after a fantastic few BF days and bumping into the late great Bo diddley as he alighted his hire car from Byron. I hope that the artist/stars enjoy the whole byron experience. It's a long way for a 40" to 1 hr set. Artists should dive into the deep end, and then they'd be the best publicity agents for BF in the future.

I think, depending on the tour schedule, some artists would probably stay around kingscliff / casaurina resorts area , as the traffic flow to the show is probably not as bad as coming from the byron side.

When I last stayed in a "tent city" site, there were a group of tents set aside for the 'lesser' artists.
