Was enjoying Steve Miller band when a girl who was trying to get out felt overwhelmed and fainted. We picked her up and tried to help her out but she fainted again. she was clearly stunned by the crowd and scared that she couldnt get out. I know people like to stand their ground when you've got your special spot in the crowd, but please everyone be concious that when people need to get out, you have to move slightly to let them get through. It can be very scary if you feel stuck in the crowd.
Anyway a bloke in a blue T-shirt picked up the fainted girl and took her out of the crowd over his shoulder, fireman rescue style. and we didnt see him again. I suppose he couldnt get back through the crowd, hope the girl was alright. and many thanks for rescuring the girl.

Good story, and agree totally. We were at Miller, on the rail, so didn't realize how squashed in we were until we tried to leave! Had to explain to lots of morons who stood their ground that we were actually leaving! And even though we didn't see him, double cheers to the guy in the blue shirt, if it was my girlfriend or daughter I'd track you down and buy you a beer!
As for Spider-Man at the Murphy's, F#%k you dickhead!!!

Does anyone know if she was OK or did they see First Aid attend at the nearby First Aid station?

I was only 2 metres behind this incident and hats off to the great patrons of the Bluesfest for helping out with this rescue.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWPQQbldFjwNot a band I had listened to pre 2013. But a big fan since. Featuring Carlos Reyes the violin player from Paraguay who was in Roy Rogers Band at Narooma. Norton Buffalo sadly RIP.
