i have finally come to the conclusion after several bluesfests that my beloved original WAFFLE MAN will not return.it was hard, but counciling
helped me face the reality.

so,what culinary delights await my tastebuds this bluesfest. hopefully GOVINDA,IRON WOK,GROOVY SOOUVY ,CAJUN KITCHEN ETC.
if bluesfest could enlighten us as to what we can expect,we can adjust our timetables to suit.Drool

ONLY JOKING GUYS!I KNOW BLUESFEST STAFF ARE WOKING THEIR BUTTS OFF RIGHT NOW.
I HOPE EVERYTHING IS GOING TO PLAN.

I don't want to hang up my rock n roll shoes
I get a good time feeling every time I hear those blues.

SAUERKRAUT SISTERS look like they taste alright

When you're lost in the rain in Juarez
And it's Eastertime too
And your gravity fails
And negativity don't pull you through
Don't put on any airs
When you're down on Rue Morgue Avenue
They got some hungry women there
And they really make a mess outta you.

If the Langos fried bread isn't there this year, I will be questioning my decision to return to Australia from abroad...Those things are the absolute anchor of my Bluesfest weekend diet.

every year i live on a combo of the gourmet pies at the shop in the food hall by jambalaya & if they are there i also get the chicken schnitzel sandwitches which are usually by the mojo.
i spend all my time at the stages so really don't get a chance to see much of the food, but may try a few of these options you guys reckon are good.

Unfortunately my dietary habits will need to take a hard jolt this year.
Not that I am blaming the sophisticated offerings of Bluesfest for my recent quintuple bypass, more my over indulgence in Hungarian snap fried bread and eggplant pakoras.
I will this year be seen in a more moderate state of consumption.....but it aint Bluesfest without a Byron pie and a visit to the Sauerkraut Sisters!!!

Agree BC, that with all the shows, eating becomes sometimes secondary and this year it will be worse.

I see that the Rhythms mag program actually has the food vendors (with location) listed on page 27. "Petite Waffles" are listed.... "Petite" seems a very apt adjective for you Mr Waffles....

I certainly remember them. I'm a large guy and was feeling hungry so I asked for the large box. The lady asked me if I was sure and showed me the sizes. After seeing them I went for small. Despite feeling hungry I never finished the small box, even the next was no help. From memory they were quite reasonably priced. Wouldn't complain if they were there again this year.
